We are pleased to introduce Anima which is now live. This is the new way to submit requests into the surgery. Use it as you would have used eConsult.

How to use Anima?
  1. Register - To be able to use Anima, you must create an account or login using your NHS app login details. We've a guide on how to create an account on our Anima launch page here. Click here to visit the Anima page to create an account.

  1. Submit - If you have a health concern, submit a request using Anima.

  1. Review - This request will be reviewed by the team and you will receive an appropriate outcome - check your email (also check your junk mail just in case) and text messages - in the same time frame we would usually contact you when using our old system eConsult.

FAQs

When can I submit a request through Anima?

You'll be able to submit a request on Anima from 8am to 5pm each week day. It will be closed at weekends.

Can I submit a medication request through Anima?

Please submit your medication request through the usual way - see here for more information on that.

I need more help using Anima, I have a question about a feature, or something is not working

What about my data?

Anima is approved by the NHS, and they work with us - your GP practice - in order to enable us to provide you with care. Anima sign specific agreements to let them do that, and only collect the data that they need in order to make this happen.
